Job summary

Iron Heart Canning in Minnesota is hiring a Packaging Technician to set up and break down equipment, run the canning line, and maintain Clean-In-Place procedures to Iron Heart standards.

The role offers starting pay of $20/hour with benefits including paid time off, paid sick time, paid holidays, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance. Training and progression opportunities are provided onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• One year of packing machine operator experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up/take down of heavy equipment to/from canning runs.
• Chemical mixing and sanitation procedures follow-ups.
• Set up and troubleshoot equipment such as labeler and date coder.
• Conduct consistent quality checks and keep equipment clean to standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and brewery staff.
• Operate heavy packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
