Job summary

Iron Heart Canning Company LLC in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a part-time Packaging Assistant to support mobile canning operations. You will set up and break down equipment, perform CIP procedures, and ensure smooth flow of cans to the canning line. Onsite training is provided to help you grow in the craft beverage industry.

Starting wage is $18 per hour with paid sick time. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long shifts, and work flexible hours including overnight stays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up/take down of heavy equipment in a box truck to and/or from canning runs.
• Chemical mixing and sanitation procedures.
• Setting up and troubleshooting equipment such as labeler and date coder.
• Quality checks throughout the process.
• Keep equipment clean and in IHC standards.
• Follow company policies and rules.
• Collaborate with technicians and brewery staff.
• Safely operate heavy packaging machinery.
• Package machinery repair and maintenance.
