Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Mobile Building Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties in the Tampa area.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial properties, knowledge of HVAC, boilers, pumps, and energy management, and an emphasis on safety, documentation, and prompt response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC tasks for building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, and cooling systems.
• Monitor mechanical equipment and energy management to ensure comfort.
• Address repairs to doors, ceilings, floors and other structural components.
• Respond to emergencies and document activities for supervisor.
• Comply with safety and company directives during operations.
