Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a driver to manage the daily operations of our mobile blood bank program at the Somerville site. The role includes transporting staff between Mass General Brigham locations, arriving 1.5 hours before pickup, and returning the mobile unit to the Somerville lot after staff are dropped off.

The driver maintains the unit, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and delivers excellent customer service to staff throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Class B CDL required.
• Commercial driving experience 2-3 years required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of mobile blood bank personnel and processes.
• Drive the mobile unit to MGH Somerville and return staff safely.
• Maintain the mobile unit (fuel, interior cleaning, basic maintenance).
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety; provide excellent customer service.
