Job summary

OneBlood in Colorado is seeking a phlebotomist to collect whole blood and blood components from donors in a mobile or facility setting. You will perform phlebotomy procedures, obtain donor medical histories and vitals, and ensure donor safety and comfort while maintaining strict adherence to FDA and AABB standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong communication skills to provide excellent customer service and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety rules, procedures and manuals.
• Proficient in documenting activities and communicating clearly.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism toward all customers.
• Assists with recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors.
