Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and collect whole blood and components from donors in mobile unit settings, following FDA and AABB standards.

The role includes obtaining medical history and vitals, providing courteous service, and assisting with donor recruitment while complying with safety guidelines and policies. Strong English, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand and follow medical safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors.
