Job summary

Community Access in New York City seeks an IMT Behavioral Health Specialist as part of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health clinicians. Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field; LMSW preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorder.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Comfort with Windows OS and MS Office; willingness to learn new electronic systems.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred.
  • Must be fingerprinted and cleared by the New York State Justice Center.

Responsibilities

  • Engage participants through individualized assessment and therapeutic intervention planning.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support participants’ wellness and recovery journeys.
  • Provide clinical resources and guidance to other team members in mental and behavioral health issues.
