Job summary

Community Access is seeking an IMT Assistant Program Director to supervise and support the Intensive Mobile Treatment teams, delivering trauma-informed, client-centered services in New York City. You will collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, social work, and peer specialists to coordinate care, housing goals, and safety planning for participants.

The role requires clinical licensure in NY (LCSW or LMHC), strong supervisory skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in community

Qualifications

  • Licensed in New York State in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Minimum of three years direct clinical experience with adults in a behavioral health setting
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary mobile team
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends)
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services and supervision to IMT team members
  • Support the IMT Program Director in daily operations
  • Oversee staff recruitment and onboarding in coordination with HR
  • Ensure assessments and service plans are completed on time
  • Maintain progress notes for contacts, collaterals, and engagement attempts
  • Communicate program goals and hold staff accountable to deliver services
