The Raymond Corporation is seeking a Battery Service Technician to maintain, service and support batteries and equipment at customer sites. The role involves traveling to customer locations, diagnosing issues, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics and manuals, and a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of industrial electricity.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications; follow instructions.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record; willing to work overtime or weekends; may be on 24/7 call.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver batteries and chargers, install new batteries, chargers and related equipment.
• Travel to customer site, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair battery equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment at the customer's facility.
• Complete all required paperwork and time records following MobileTech procedures.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used.
• Drive and work safely according to safety policies.
• Develop positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Keep the van clean and fully stocked at all times.
• Maintain uniforms and professional appearance.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain personal tools as directed by supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures (OSHA, DOT Hazmat, warranty, safety, environmental).
• Work with all departments to insure quality of customer service.
