Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts in Louisville, KY is seeking a mechanically inclined Battery Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service industrial batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer sites. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems while providing outstanding customer service.

The role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with overtime opportunities, a company-provided service vehicle, and opportunities for paid training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• 1–3 years in mechanical, electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in training.
• Ability to travel overnight occasionally; DOT certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer locations.
• Install, deliver, and set up new batteries and chargers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep operations running.
• Identify issues, determine solutions, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Build strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally.
• Manage the company-provided service vehicle and tools.
• Follow safety procedures in various environments.
• Document service activities and maintenance in company systems.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and managers to ensure great customer experience.
