Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Building Automation System (BAS) Technician to support and optimize Trane BAS operations across 10-12 hospital facilities in Central Texas.

You will also provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy optimization across electrical, mechanical, life safety, and monitoring systems. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of progressive experience in Building Automation Systems.
• Experience in healthcare facilities is preferred.
• Proficiency with Trane BAS systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in Central Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support BAS programs across electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems for facility operation and energy optimization.
• Travel to 10-12 hospital sites in the Central Texas region using a company van.
• Collaborate with onsite BAS Engineers and facility teams to align system operations with design and operational standards.
• Conduct energy audits and evaluations of BAS operations, tracking energy consumption and identifying improvements.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, procurement, and documentation of BAS work orders and activities.
• Implement routine maintenance to reduce energy consumption by optimizing BAS systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Trane BAS systems, calibrate monitors, and diagnose chillers, AHUs, and pumps.
