Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Technician to perform mobile diagnostic, calibration, and programming services at Crash Champions locations. Expect daily travel in a company vehicle, ensuring OEM standards, accurate documentation, and high customer service quality.

The role requires 2-5+ years in automotive diagnostics, strong ADAS/calibration knowledge, and proficiency with electrical testing tools. Local travel, Saturday coverage, and safe driving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations, programming, diagnostics, and wire/connector repair.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
• Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
• Ensure all services are documented per OEM guidelines and approved before execution.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service and escalate concerns when needed.
• Maintain and secure tools, equipment, and vehicles; participate in training.
