Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Mobile Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in a mobile setting, following dealer and factory standards. Roles include off-site services, diagnostics, and customer communication, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
Ford or OEM certifications are a plus, state of Michigan services are a plus.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
At least 1 year of experience as an automotive technician (Ford experience preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform light vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, inspections, etc.) at off-site locations.
Perform manufacturers safety, emissions, compliance recalls.
Accurately diagnose and repair Ford vehicles using OEM tools and equipment.
Maintain mobile service vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
Communicate clearly with customers about services performed and future recommendations.
Use diagnostic tools and mobile service software to update job status and complete work orders.
Represent the dealership professionally at all times.
