Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an Automotive Key Sales Specialist to meet customers at retail locations, dealerships, and events using a mobile sales van. You will educate customers on key replacement and programming services, uncover needs, and drive sales with consultative techniques.

You will join the Mobile Locksmith Technician team to deliver exceptional service, build relationships with partners, and expand market presence while earning a base pay plus commission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in retail or direct sales, customer-facing.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in automotive, locksmith, retail, wireless, home improvement, or service sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers and initiate conversations in high-traffic retail parking lots and stores.
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and engaging customer experience that builds confidence.
• Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Demonstrate automotive key replacement and programming services, explaining benefits and value.
• Overcome objections and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Convert customer interest into completed sales and meet sales targets.
• Partner with the Mobile Locksmith Technician to serve customers and support operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners and dealerships.
• Manage daily sales activities, follow-up, and lead generation opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and displays on the mobile van, ensuring a professional appearance.
