Job summary

Glass America in Du Quoin, IL is hiring Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and glass in vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis. You will use proper tools to ensure high-quality installation and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, and duties include loading glass, maintaining safety, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4-6 years of related work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools and techniques for quality installation.
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
• Maintain a safe driving record as per policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass in the truck as required.
• Report any problems to the Glass Manager immediately.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly and maintain quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service to Glass America customers.
