Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Utilize digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to showcase the value of products and services, including onboarding and self-service options.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems; continuously improve skills to enhance customer experience; collaborate with nearby stores for customer onboarding; perform store operations including opening/closing, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Be customer-obsessed, friendly, engaging, and able to build rapport and trust. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for special offers.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer journey from setup to support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction and able to balance experience with performance goals (required)
  • Team-oriented with willingness to learn and share best practices (required)
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $21.00 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for incentives up to $18,000/year based on performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives.
