Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are skilled at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities

1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment using digital tools, effective communication, and product knowledge to educate customers and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding to identify needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including solutions that help customers self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app.
3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes. Review personal results, promotions, and updates to stay customer-ready. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding, perform skills practice, share knowledge, and follow store procedures including security measures.
4. Provide passionate, friendly, and engaging customer service. Build rapport and loyalty, follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for special offers.
5. Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate, effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals (Required)
• Team Building: Willingness to work with peers and leaders, share best practices (Required)
• Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with training and incentives. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert with potential annual incentives of $18,000. All employees guaranteed $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for stock grants.
