Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way: excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment using digital tools, effective communication, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Solution Selling: Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and recommend solutions to deepen relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Training & Store Operations: Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes. Review results, promotions, and updates to be customer ready. Support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and secure kiosk assets.
  4. Customer Service & Sales: Be passionate, friendly, and engaging. Build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for specific offers.
  5. Relationship Building: Develop relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate, able to connect and have fun with customers, balancing experience and performance goals. (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to work with peers and leaders, share best practices, and resolve issues. (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment. (Required)

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50

First 90 days training and incentive pay; promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees guaranteed $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for Annual Stock Grant.
