Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates in SiS roles aim to exceed performance targets by providing excellent sales and customer experiences while meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
• Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of products and services through solution-based selling.
• Complete training on in-store experience, products, systems, and procedures. Continuously learn and improve skills to serve customers better. Partner with nearby stores for onboarding and perform store operations including opening/closing, securing assets, and reporting issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by connecting personally, building rapport and loyalty, and exceeding expectations. Follow up, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and perform price overrides when necessary.
• Build relationships with store leadership and support teams to enhance the customer experience from setup to support and account management.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Customer satisfaction focus; effective at connecting with customers and balancing experience with performance goals.
• Team-oriented, willing to collaborate and share best practices.
• Retail sales drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: No travel required.

Compensation: Starting at $17.50/hour, with training and incentive pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
