Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They are obsessed with the connected world and thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are skilled at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates in SiS roles exceed their performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, communicating effectively, educating customers, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identify customer needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including guiding customers on self-service and app utilization.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, and system knowledge. Review personal results, current promotions, and updates regularly. Partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding, practice skills, share knowledge, and perform store operations including opening and closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport, trust, and loyalty, proactively reaching out to potential customers, following up, capturing referrals, managing Be Back processes, and building relationships with existing customers. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused with a passion for satisfaction and the ability to balance customer experience and performance goals.
  • Team-oriented with willingness to collaborate and share best practices.
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment.
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Travel

Not required.

Compensation

Starting hourly pay is $16.50, with training and incentives. After training, eligible for an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for an annual stock grant.
