Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an essential part of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are passionate about the connected world, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are skilled at educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate, and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding solutions to help customers utilize the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on store experience, products, processes, and systems; continually improve skills to enhance customer experience; assist with onboarding customers at nearby stores; perform store procedures including opening, closing, and securing assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect personally, build rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively reach out to potential customers; follow up, capture referrals, and manage sales processes.
  5. Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Work Experience:
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to connect authentically with customers (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset, willingness to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with potential incentives and promotion to Mobile Expert after training milestones. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
