Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. Mobile Associates excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Solution Selling: Leverage digital self-serve tools, identify customer needs, and recommend solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Training & Store Operations: Complete training on store experience, products, and processes; review personal results and promotions; perform store opening and closing procedures, including securing assets.
  4. Customer Service & Sales: Connect on a personal level, build rapport, and exceed customer expectations. Follow up, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  5. Relationship Building: Collaborate with nearby teams to support the customer experience from setup to support and account management.
Education & Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Customer-focused attitude with ability to connect and have fun with customers (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn (Required)
  • Competitive sales drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses & Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $16.50, with training incentives and potential promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives.
