Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They focus on building strong relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class customer experience, helping customers pick up where they left off, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Digital Tools & Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and processes. Continuously learn about innovations and new skills.
  3. Relationship Building & Collaboration: Partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate with peers and store leaders, share ideas, serve customers, and resolve issues (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

  • At least 18 years old

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00/hour training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and training pay. After promotion to Mobile Expert, the incentive target is $18,000/year, with guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
