Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, focusing on building relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, in-store, and via Customer Care; exploring needs and demonstrating technology; and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans, and support the in-store experience; complete training on systems, processes, and product knowledge; and continuously learn about innovations in wireless technology.
  3. Build relationships with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and assist in identifying small business leads.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $19.00/hour, with potential incentives and promotion to Mobile Expert after training. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for annual stock grants.
