Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to promote the T-Mobile brand. They act as brand ambassadors, creating excitement around products and services, and building strong customer relationships. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learning about new technology and customer needs. The role focuses on educating customers, demonstrating devices, and recommending solutions. It is a learning position, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and build loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, and in-store.
  • Demonstrate product features and explore customer needs, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Use digital tools to explain coverage, plans, and services, and complete in-store training.
  • Build relationships with team members across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience and support small business leads.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Drive to succeed in a sales environment (Required)
  • Team-oriented, eager to learn and share ideas (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with incentives available during training and upon promotion. All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, discounts, paid time off, and more. For details, visit www.t-mobilebenefits.com.
