Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs evolve continuously. They build meaningful connections with customers, deepening relationships through education, demonstrations, and personalized solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates developing skills and preparing for advancement to Mobile Expert after successful training completion.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Develop proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans.
  2. Digital Tools and Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate network coverage, plan benefits, and complete in-store training on systems, processes, and product knowledge. Continuously learn about wireless innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across channels to enhance the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives in an inclusive environment.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer advocate with a fun, authentic personality (Required)
  • Drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with potential incentives and promotion to Mobile Expert after training. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for stock grants.
