Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates work with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling: Provide a world-class customer experience, help customers continue their shopping journey online, in-store, or via Customer Care, and demonstrate the latest technology. Use digital tools to showcase coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on systems and processes. Seek continuous learning about innovations.
  2. Establish relationships and collaborate: Partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives.

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail experience preferred (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Passionate customer advocate (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Ability to work with peers and leaders, share ideas, and resolve customer issues (Required)
  • Balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentives and potential promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed to earn at least $20/hour including incentives.
