Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN 12 hours Day Shift to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC" or "LPC-A"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").
• CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Experience completing internship including individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC" or "LPC-A"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license

EXPERIENCE

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
