Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a Mobile Assessor PRN to perform weekend night shifts (6-12 hours) and deliver mobile mental health assessments for contracted ERs or hospitals.

You will determine the appropriate level of care based on risk factors and triage to services as needed. Must hold a state-appropriate license (LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/RN), have a Master’s in a related field, CPR if required, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current licensure in state as an LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW or RN.
• Current CPR certification, if required by customer hospital.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of appropriate internship with individual, group or family therapy/counseling.
• Mobile assessment experience is preferred.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Dallas, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN to work 6-12 hours Weekend Nights to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC" or "LPC-A"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license

EXPERIENCE

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
