Universal Health Services, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Mobile Assessor to perform mental health assessments for contracted ER/hospital clients. The role involves assessing risk, triaging to appropriate care levels, and supporting discharge planning.

The Mobile Assessor works nights, across all zones, with duties including crisis intervention and referrals. Licensure and CPR are required where applicable, plus a valid driver''s license.

Qualifications

Nursing degree or MSW/psych counseling field is required.
Current state licensure LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW or RN is required.
CPR certification may be required by hospital.
Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time Nights All zonesto join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor's assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Required Schedule:

Tues-Sat 7pm-330am
Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor ("LPC"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist ("LMFT"), Licensed Master Social Worker ("LMSW"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW"), or Registered Nurse ("RN").

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver's license

EXPERIENCE:

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
