Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Mobile Assessor to join our Evening shift team. The role conducts mental health assessments for contracted ERs and hospitals, triages patients and recommends appropriate levels of care based on risk.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, coordinating referrals, and ensuring timely transfer of care. This position offers evenings, a meaningful impact, and opportunities within a large health network.

Formación

• Degree in Nursing or a Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current state license: LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/RN.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Crisis Intervention and stabilization in emergent situations.
• Conduct Mobile Mental Health Assessments for contracted ERs/hospitals.
• Recommend appropriate level of care based on risk assessment.
• Triages patients to appropriate services and facilitates transfers when needed.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time Evenings M-F 3P-1130P - Baytown Area to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

Education

Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Licensure/Certification

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license

Experience

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
