Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dynamic Mobile Assessor for full-time night shifts. The role involves mobile mental health assessments at contracted ERs/hospitals, triaging to appropriate services, and recommending treatment levels based on risk factors.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and current state licensure (LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW/RN) with CPR as needed and a valid driver’s license. Prior mobile assessment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.
• Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.
• Mobile assessment experience preferred.

Qualifications

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Licensure/Certification

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC” or “LPC-A”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license
