Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Software Engineer II - Mobile Apps in a hybrid onsite role in San Diego, CA or Northridge, CA. You will design and develop mobile applications for our diabetes management platform, collaborating with architecture and QA teams to ensure robust end-to-end performance.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and a proactive mindset, with experience in iOS/Android ecosystems and REST API integration.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex mobile applications (iOS or Android).
• Self-motivated with great written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with system and software architects to interpret and implement requirements.
• Develop with Android Studio or Xcode and leverage REST APIs.
• Provide feedback to team members and participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with quality and systems teams to ensure end-to-end product quality.
