North Wind Portage in Moab, Utah is seeking a Facilities Laborer to support the UMTRA project. You will perform construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks at Moab and Crescent Junction sites, conduct repairs, clean and decontaminate areas, and ensure compliance with project policies and safety regulations.

A General Laborer for the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project performs construction, maintenance, and janitorial tasks at the Moab and Crescent Junction sites.
Ability to qualify as a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Radiation Worker II and complete OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) worker qualification and pass a HAZWOPER/respirator user medical exam.
Ability to work in different types of personal protective equipment (half-face, full-face respirators, Tyvek, etc.) while performing various tasks/activities (e.g., climbing, walking, stopping, etc.) in different work environments (e.g., cold, heat, etc.). Physically able to perform job tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs alone.
This position will work primarily outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions and temperature extremes.
