Job summary

The Colorado Outward Bound School is seeking a Southwest Associate Program Director of Logistics to advance operations in Moab, UT. This full-time role reports to the Southwest Program Director and supports logistics, transportation, gear, and food systems within the Southwest Program.

The position emphasizes inclusive leadership, staff development, and budget management, with an annual salary range of $48,000–$51,000 and benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in logistics or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of team management and supervisory experience.
• Wilderness First Responder certification, CPR, and Epinephrine certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a collaborative member of the Southwest Program Leadership Team to determine and fulfill program needs, goals, and direction.
• Build the program calendar for all courses and advise capacity, facility use, and hiring needs.
• Develop and manage the Warehouse Manager and oversee logistics staff training and performance.
• Oversee vendor relations pertaining to logistics, including transportation, gear, and food vendors.
• Manage program purchasing orders and annual budget planning for the Southwest Program.
