Qualifications

• State Medication Technician License and competency in drug administration as per state protocol.
• Current certification as a nursing assistant or completion of a certified home health aide program.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Nursing Assistant (CMT) to join our team. As a CMT, your primary responsibility will be to provide care to our residents in a warm, home-like environment.

Shifts

• Per Diem, all shifts

Responsibilities

• Communicate questions, concerns, and discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Report significant changes in residents' mental or physical status to RCD.
• Document supervision of self-administration in MAR.
• Notify RCD of administration of PRN medications.
• Document PRN medications and their effects.
• Recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Requirements

• State Medication Technician License and competency in drug administration as per state protocol.
• Complete quarterly medication technician competency reviews supervised by RN/RCD.


• CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Complete a state-approved medication training course and receive a certificate of satisfactory completion.
• Evaluation of competency by RCD each quarter.
• Current certification as a nursing assistant or completion of a certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care program.
• High School diploma preferred.
