Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship in the Home Office, focusing on the MMSC Category Support team across North America and Canada. You will work on coordinating technology initiatives, data cleansing, and stakeholder collaboration to drive business improvements.

You’ll receive mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities while gaining hands-on experience with AI-enabled systems and cross-functional projects that shape the organization’s future.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics/Data Science or Information Systems (IS).
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Assist with interactive workshopping sessions, gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform data handling, validation, and data cleansing to ensure information accuracy across key business platforms.
• Engage in high-impact target projects such as Unified Cost Project and PIM Transition Support, driving data quality and system migrations.

Build a Career: In the MMSC Category Support department by:

Support coordination and facilitation of various strategic technology initiatives across the category ecosystem. Assist with interactive workshopping sessions, gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT). Perform comprehensive data handling, validation, and data cleansing to ensure information accuracy across key business platforms. Engage in high-impact target projects Unified Cost Project: Participate in an initiative designed to overhaul, streamline, and automate the broader cost evaluation and management process. PIM Transition Support: Support the strategic migration away from current systems to a new Product Information Management platform, driving data cleansing efforts and auditing accuracy and completeness.

Meet the following qualifications to be considered for our 2027 internship program:

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics/Data Science or Information Systems (IS).
