Job summary

Gordon Food Service, North America's largest family‑owned broadline food service distributor, invites you to join its 2027 12-week paid internship at the Home Office. You’ll work in the MMSC Category Support department, gaining hands-on experience across Communications, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Supply Chain while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics/Data Science or Information Systems (IS).
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and facilitation of various strategic technology initiatives across the category ecosystem.
• Assist with interactive workshopping sessions, gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform comprehensive data handling, validation, and data cleansing to ensure information accuracy across key business platforms.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics/Data Science or Information Systems (IS)

Build a Career

In the MMSC Category Support department by:

• Support coordination and facilitation of various strategic technology initiatives across the category ecosystem.
• Assist with interactive workshopping sessions, gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform comprehensive data handling, validation, and data cleansing to ensure information accuracy across key business platforms.
• Engage in high-impact target projects
• Unified Cost Project: Participate in an initiative designed to overhaul, streamline, and automate the broader cost evaluation and management process.
• PIM Transition Support: Support the strategic migration away from current systems to a new Product Information Management platform, driving data cleansing efforts and auditing accuracy and completeness.
