Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship in the Category Technology department. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting data handling, validation, and data cleansing across core business platforms, while collaborating with professionals through mentorship and workshops.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics / Data Science or Information systems (IS) or related degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

• Assist with cross-functional initiatives within the Category Technology department.
• Support interactive workshops, collect stakeholder feedback, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform data handling, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy across key business platforms.
• Contribute to high-impact projects such as the Unified Cost Project and PIM Transition Support.

Build a Career:

In the Category Technology department by:

• Supporting coordination and facilitation of various strategic technology initiatives across the category ecosystem.
• Assisting with interactive workshopping sessions, gathering cross-functional stakeholder feedback, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Performing comprehensive data handling, validation, and data cleansing to ensure information accuracy across key business platforms.
• Engage in high-impact target projects such as: The Unified Cost Project: Participate in an initiative designed to overhaul, streamline, and automate the broader cost evaluation and management process.
• PIM Transition Support: Support the strategic migration away from current systems to a new Product Information Management platform, driving data cleansing efforts and auditing accuracy and completeness.
