Job summary

Gordon Food Service offers a 12-week paid internship in the Category Insights department. You will gain hands-on experience with data systems, build Excel proficiency, and collaborate with teams across North America and Canada.

The program provides mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to various facets of the business. As an intern, you will develop data visualizations, create data-driven stories, and participate in projects that reveal category opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Business.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with teams across North America and Canada to observe how data drives decisions.
• Create data visualizations and present insights to stakeholders.
• Develop presentation decks to tell the data story and support recommendations.

Build a Career:

In the Category Insights department by:

• Learning internal and syndicated data systems.
• Building excel proficiency.
• Participating in organizational and team dynamics.
• Interacting across categories and functions.
• Pursuing ad hoc project(s) to explore category opportunities.
• Creating data visualization of insights and observations.
• Developing presentation deck(s) to share "the data story".
