Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree applicable to duties.
• At least 1 year professional/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise students in baccalaureate programs, minors and certificates.
• Assist with course registration conflicts and related processes.
• Help students understand degree audits/flowcharts and plan their schedules.
• Promote problem-solving habits and student independence.
• Collaborate with Career Services, Student Mental Health, and other centers to support student success.
• Review transfer courses for MMET degree applicability.
• Review degree audits and graduation requirements for MMET majors.
• Assist with department marketing materials and advising resources.
• Coordinate with Registrar's Office on student records.
• Participate in First-Year Orientation and advising meetings.
• Disseminate current academic policies and procedures.
• Support program assessment and accreditation processes.
• Assist with updating department web pages and flowcharts.
• Participate in scholarships and awards selection.
• Participate in committees and outreach events.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and safety training.
• Apply safety-related knowledge in daily work.
