Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a PRN Medical Laboratory Technician to perform tests on blood, urine and body fluids for diagnostic information. The role emphasizes quality improvement participation and teamwork within a patient-centered environment.

The MLT supports ongoing performance improvement and adheres to the center's mission, vision and values while providing safe, accurate lab services to patients across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent training.
• Military course of 50+ weeks with Medical Laboratory Specialist experience.
• ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited program with at least 3 months high-complexity testing training.
• Documentation of qualification as high complexity testing personnel in a CLIA-lab since 2024-12-28.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on blood, urine and body fluids to aid diagnosis.
• Participate in Performance Improvement to support quality outcomes.
• Maintain professional awareness when interacting with patients and staff.
• Promote a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment in the department.
• Align duties with the center's mission, vision and values.
