Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS for PRN (as needed) coverage. The MT/MLS will perform tests on specimens such as blood and urine to aid in diagnosis and patient management, while supervising MLT staff and supporting quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes safe patient interactions, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a high-performing laboratory team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited life science field with relevant generalist clinical lab experience in the last five years.
• Or a degree in laboratory medical technology with clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests on blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain diagnostic information.
• Supervises Medical Lab Technicians (MLT).
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintains professional interactions with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers.
