TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a PRN Medical Technologist/MLS to perform tests on samples like blood and urine to aid patient diagnosis. The MT/MLS will supervise MLTs and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, while maintaining professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/physical/biological or life science with clinical lab experience OR MLS/MT degree with rotation.
• National Registration as MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), MT(HEW) OR state MT license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids to aid diagnosis.
• Supervises Medical Lab Technician (MLT) and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Maintains professional conduct with patients and coworkers and supports Skyline Medical Center’s mission.
