Job summary

WVU is offering a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician position at Braxton County Memorial Hospital in West Virginia. The role includes processing and analyzing lab samples, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring quality control while adhering to safety guidelines.

Perform routine and basic laboratory testing within a designated area in the clinical laboratory.8. Recognize testing inconsistency and takes appropriate corrective action.9. Maintain all patent and specimen records accurately, neatly, and legibly.10. Follow hospital, state, and federal guidelines for ensuring a safe environment for workers, patients, and public.11. Maintain compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures for safety, security, and infection control.12.
