Nebraska Medicine seeks an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to coordinate point-of-care testing at the bedside and in clinics. The role includes training, quality assurance, regulatory readiness, and collaboration with clinical teams to troubleshoot testing and implement new testing locations.

Earnest about teaching and building relationships, the MLS will help expand laboratory practices across the organization. Travel is occasional within the Omaha area; is full-time, first shift.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing high complexity testing.
• Bachelor’s degree and completion of a certified clinical program in medical laboratory science, or an associate’s degree with MT (HEW) certification.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate point-of-care testing performed at bedside and in clinics across the organization.
• Support staff training, competency assessments, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and test validations.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to troubleshoot testing issues and implement testing in new locations.
