The role requires a Bachelor degree in a relevant science, with options for ASCP certification preferred. Expect a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and relocation/sign-on considerations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology or related biological/chemical/physical science from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor degree with 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry is also acceptable.
• Non-CLS/MT degrees require one year of clinical laboratory experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepare specimens for testing and perform department-specific tests.
• Monitor test results to ensure quality and validity.
• Enter and retrieve data from laboratory computer systems and communicate results promptly.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
• Provide respectful, patient-centered care to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Work alternate shifts as required; may include phlebotomy duties.
