Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist Group Lead in Brick, NJ, a hospital-based position at Ocean. Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range: $33.81 - $55.81 per hour with potential annual bonus.

Responsibilities include leading the lab team, ensuring SOP compliance, and maintaining quality control. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401(k) with company match, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of clinical experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Foreign-educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF). United States-educated candidates must provide original transcripts.
• ASCP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all duties of a Medical Technologist I and II.
• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests following SOPs and quality control requirements.
• Support laboratory policies for specimen handling, processing, test analysis and documentation of results.
• Maintain turnaround times including STAT/critical results; ensure accuracy and instrument function.
