DC Army National Guard seeks a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer to maintain the electronic systems that keep weapons firing for the Army National Guard. Training combines classroom and field work to develop electronic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.

You will learn to work with electronics and mechanical systems, with the opportunity to pursue civilian careers as an electronic mechanic, avionics technician, or missile facilities repairer after training.

Qualifications

• Be eligible for military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic systems for small arms and artillery.
• Operate electronic, electrical, and mechanical test equipment.
• Develop skills for civilian careers as electronic mechanic, avionics technician, or missile facilities repairer.
