Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in TESOL.

• Experience with writing instruction and language development.
• Experience with progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the area of specialty; help students learn subject matter and skills that broaden their learning experiences.
• Communicate with parents; create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Participate in professional learning and collaborate with staff to improve instructional practice.
• Follows the scope and sequence defined by the Norwalk Board of Education.
• Conducts parent/teacher conferences and maintains accurate records.
• Designs instruction to meet diverse student needs and assess progress regularly.
